Marshall Garneau, Patrick Henry High School, Minneapolis and Denise North, Duluth, MN attended the We the People...The Citizen and The Constitution Central Region Summer Institute, June 18-25, 2001.  The Institute offered training in content, teaching strategies and performance assessment for this nationally acclaimed program.  Watch for these 2 schools in the 2002 We the People competition!
Synova Shelgren, River Bend ALC, presented Teens, Crime and the Community at the International Conference of Alternative Programs in Bend Oregon.  Her session was a great success, evidenced by the fact that she ran out of materials!  Congratulations Synova.
